Nantwich Players - Regina Monologues

Theatre lovers who have missed out on live shows in lockdown can tune in to Nantwich Players for a first “live stream” production, writes Claire Faulkner.

The group will present one of the first live-stream productions post Covid-19 from an amateur theatre organisation in the UK this Friday, July 17.

It means fans can watch and support their local theatre from the comfort of their own home.

“The Regina Monologues” puts the story of the six wives of Henry VIII in a modern context and imagines how the lives they lived might unfold now.

Nantwich Players will be presenting in compliance with the government Covid 19 guidelines for theatres.

To watch the show live from the Players Theatre, you can request a link by emailing [email protected] with the email title “Viewing Link”.

Please include your full name in the text of the email.

The production will also be available to stream during Saturday and Sunday too.

There is no charge for viewing this production.

The Players are also providing a free programme which can be downloaded from their website 24 hours prior to the live stream.

Creating theatre during this time is a remarkable achievement.
