Fire crews were called to tackle a kitchen blaze at a house in Nantwich.
The fire broke out at around 9.30pm last night (May 22) at a property on Volunteer Fields.
Two fire engines from Nantwich and Crewe, as well as the Rapid Response Rescue Unit from Nantwich, attended the scene.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews were called to a fire in a kitchen, involving a dishwasher.
“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and dampen down the surrounding area.
“A high-pressure fan was used to clear smoke from the home, and a thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots within the home.
“The road was closed while the incident was dealt with, and all persons were accounted for.”
