Nantwich Town Women wrapped up their pre-season preparations in style with a 5–2 home win over Winsford Town Ladies FC.

The Dabbers went into half-time 2–1 ahead thanks to a sharp brace from Amanda Fallon.

They turned up the heat after the break, with Fallon completing her hat-trick and captain Levi Lander and Libby Bulkeley also finding the net.

Manager Dan Mellor was full of praise for the squad.

He said: “Pre-season has been about more than just fitness, it’s been about building on our identity, sharpening our game, and learning to trust each other in every moment.

“We’ve tested ourselves, responded to challenges, and finished with performances that show the hunger and quality in this group.

“Every player has put in the work, and you can feel the belief growing in the squad.

“Now, with the season opener just around the corner, we’re ready to compete, to fight for every ball, and to show exactly what this team is all about.”
