Councillors are calling for HGVs to be taken off the busy A534 Crewe/Nantwich Road through Willaston and Wistaston.

The annual Wistaston Village Fete takes place this Saturday June 20 at a new venue – Wistaston Church Lane Primary School.
The event will start with the Rose Queen procession from Wistaston Memorial Hall at 1.30pm.
A nursery in Wistaston is staging an open day to celebrate its 20th year.

Voters in Willaston and Rope Ward made a bold statement with their appointment of first time candidate Sarah Pochin.
Conservative candidate Pochin took the seat from outspoken UKIP candidate Brian Silvester in a comfortable victory in the Cheshire East Council elections.
