South Cheshire man John Porter and his Mini have made the final of the 10th Meguiars Club Showcase.
It is a nationwide competition to find the UK’s most perfect classic cars.

Nantwich Town were held to a third draw in a row as they came from behind to share the points with Workington AFC at Borough Park.
Workington broke the deadlock after 12 minutes with Conor Tinnion firing in a stunning free-kick.

Crime in Cheshire on the decline, ONS figures show
Cheshire Police recorded the fourth largest drop in recorded crime across England and Wales, latest figures suggest.
Crime statistics released by the Office of National Statistics show for 12 months ending June 2015 there was an overall drop in crime of 4% – 2,245 fewer crimes.

Movie heroes in Nantwich to promote town’s NANOCON event
Comic heroes and movie characters arrived in Nantwich to help promote the town’s first ever comic-con event, called NANOCON.
Star Wars characters among others stormed the Civic Hall where Nantwich Mayor, Cllr Andrew Martin joined Shadow Trooper, Tusken Raider and Imperial Guard.
