Nantwich Civic Hall was jam-packed or a rousing Nantwich and District Royal British Legion Concert held in support of the national poppy appeal.

The concert was arranged to mark 100 years since the end of World War 1.

Hundreds of young and old enjoy Nantwich VE Day celebrations

VE Day Celebrations to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe, took place in Nantwich town centre.

Union Jack flags lined the streets and shop windows of the town centre, with rain moving the celebrations from the town square to St Mary’s Church.
