Nantwich Food Festival has been crowned as the winner of a major Cheshire Life Food & Drink Award.
The event was winner of the “Specialist Venue or Event of the Year” award ahead of other major vnues across the county.
A £1.5 million project to extend and remodel Tarporley Church of England School to cater for rising pupil numbers has been completed.
The school in Park Road now features four new classrooms, a larger hall, new entrance, multi use games area and playground.
The body of a man found in a hotel lake at Carden Park is thought to be that of missing teenager Haydn Mark Evans. Police underwater search teams discovered the body at Carden Park Hotel near Broxton earlier today (December 30).
Police have renewed their appeal for help from South Cheshire residents to find missing Magadalana Whittaker and Haydn Mark Evans. Magdalana (pictured), 84, has been missing since December 23 in the Congleton area.
