Last year, thousands of people came together to attend 157 local Christingle services across the Diocese of Chester.
These special events raise money for The Children’s Society to help vulnerable children and young people.
Young care leavers in Crewe and Nantwich have been sharing their colourful recipe for eating on a budget – a cookbook with the celebrity seal of approval.
The youngsters, supported by The Children’s Society, produced the Levi Roots-endorsed Easy Pleasy Cookbook to help young people leaving care to eat healthily on a budget.
Vulnerable young people in care in Crewe and Nantwich will get life-changing support thanks to £450,000 in new funding.
The Children’s Society has secured the money from the Department for Education to roll out Care To Be Different.
