Nantwich Town will be boosted by an international call-up for MK Dons defender Gary MacKenzie, who misses their FA Cup 1st round encounter. MacKenzie will win his first cap for Scotland in a friendly against Cyprus on Friday night. It rules him out of the cup clash with the Dabbers the following day.

Nantwich Town notched a second successive league victory with an impressive 3-1 win away at FC United of Manchester tonight (September 14). The Dabbers turned in an excellent performance in front of 1,350 supporters at Bury’s Gigg Lane, and crashed in three second half goals to seal all three points.

Nantwich Town sign Latvian player to boost midfield

Nantwich Town have signed a Latvian player after a trial period at the Weaver Stadium. Midfielder Aleksandrs Solovjovs (pictured) arrives in Nantwich from Cyprus second division club Atromitos Yeroskipou. Dabbers boss Jimmy Quinn  secured the signing after gaining international clearance from the Cyprus FA.
