Councillors have warned residents to make their views known about plans for 170 new homes in their Nantwich village. Richborough Estates have applied to build the houses on land off Moorfields, in Willaston.
Nantwich pubs, clubs and takeaways could face a “levy” for opening after midnight to help clean-up and police the town’s streets. The plans have been mooted as part of Cheshire East Council’s consultation on its licensing policy.
