Nantwich Town manager Dave Cooke said his team “did the basics right and looked a much better team all round” as his side halted their losing streak by drawing 0-0 away at Mickleover.
The Dabbers had lost five out of six games going into last night’s (September 14) fixture.
Nantwich Town’s five-game unbeaten run came crashing down with a 4-0 home defeat by in-form Mickleover FC, writes Jack Beresford.
Dave Cooke’s men started the game the brighter of the two sides and their first opportunity came after just two minutes.
Sports fans in Nantwich are being urged to cheer on their local team – in the last local sport before lockdown bites again.
Although “Elite” sport such as the Premier League will continue, the Government insists grass-roots and non-league football has to stop for four weeks.
