Nantwich councillors are still not clear what they can spend £750,000 of Section 106 money on in the town – two and half years after receiving the funds.
The money comes from the planning conditions imposed on developers building the Kingsbourne housing development.

Parts of Crewe Town centre are in a deplorable state, like the public square in the Market Centre, near to Asda and W H Smith.
We have asked the Council to clean it up.
Nantwich is being given a £750,000 pot of money to spend on improving the “public realm” in the town, councillors were told.
The money comes from the Section 106 agreements between developers and the council for the Kingsley Fields housing developments.
Nantwich town centre is to benefit from a £1 million facelift, Cheshire East Council has announced today.
Money under the council’s Public Realm initiative will be used for new paving and drainage to enhance the town’s pedestrianised areas.
