Hundreds of Santas will be returning to Nantwich in December for the Hope House Children’s Hospices “Santa Dash”.
It’s the 10th year of the event, and this year will take place on December 12 at a new location, Reaseheath College.
The Hope House Children’s Hospice annual Santa Dash in Nantwich is going virtual this year because of Covid-19.
The usual sight of hundreds of Santas running together through the town centre will not be seen this year.
Santas from across Cheshire will be donning their coats, hats and boots for the annual Nantwich Santa Dash in aid of charity.
This year’s event is on Sunday December 15 and will help raise thousands of pounds for Hope House Children’s Hospice.

The 7th annual Nantwich Santa Dash took place today to raise funds for Hope House Hospice.
The best dressed competition was judged by Neil Clarke, of Recycling UK Limited, and was then followed by an energetic warm-up to Christmas music before everyone moved to the start line.
A children’s hospice charity is calling on all Santas to take a break from toy-making and tackle the Nantwich Santa Dash.
The annual run will take place on Sunday December 16 and will see scores of Santas tackling either a 2.5km or a 5km route.
Scores of Santas young and old braved the wind and rain to complete the annual Nantwich Santa Dash.

There were two Santa Dash distances – one lap of 2.5 kilometres or two laps of five kilometres – which both followed the same route around the town centre.
