A Nantwich woman has completed the legendary Marathon Des Sables – seen by many as the the toughest footrace on earth.
Andrea Millar, 44, completed the gruelling six-day “Ultra-Marathon” or “Ultra” run over 150 to 156 miles.
A Nantwich woman is to tackle one of the most gruelling races on earth to help raise money in aid of Scope charity.

A team of Nantwich fundraisers are setting out to paddle 127 miles down the River Severn for local charities. The group of 12 friends and family, called The Paddlers, hope their four-day adventure will raise £10,000 for five different causes.
Residents and staff from Richmond Village Nantwich took part in the “Great Donate” as part of a nationwide campaign by charity SCOPE. The campaign aims to increase donations of good quality items, and Nantwich SCOPE shop staff were also involved.
Residents and guests at Richmond Village Nantwich marked World Book Day by welcoming two local authors to their celebrations. Anne Wragg, author of “Peggy Wood – Fighting the Law”, was a guest with local historian Andrew Lamberton, author of several Nantwich history books.
