Successful slimmers in Nantwich have donated bags of clothes they’ve slimmed out to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
They have taken part in the “Big Slimming World Clothes Throw” which raises funds for local Cancer Research UK shops.
Crewe & Nantwich Slimming World consultants have been ranked sixth out of almost 600 teams nationally.
The five-strong Slimming World team run 12 groups, Monday to Saturday in Crewe and Nantwich.
Around 50 members of four Crewe Slimming World clubs stepped out to raise funds for the Peter Pan Centre for Children with Special Needs.
They walked from Crewe to Nantwich and back again as part of Slimming World’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
Generous South Cheshire College staff helped raised more than £800 in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The college’s award-winning Academy Restaurant and Deli hosted the event, where a selection of cakes were served throughout the morning.
