Nantwich Town FC Women beat Stockport County FC Ladies Development 3 – 0 in the Premier Division of the Cheshire Women’s & Youth Football League at the Swansway Stadium.
It was the team’s first home game of 2024, and goals from Hattie Bourne, Abbie Heywood and Poppy Smith secured a comfortable victory.
Nantwich Town have been knocked out of the Cheshire Cup after a narrow 1-2 defeat to higher league opponents Stockport County.

The Dabbers held their own against the former Football League side and could have won it with a clear penalty claim.
Nantwich Town’s pre-season preparations continued in good fashion with a fine 1-0 win against former league side Stockport County. An Aaron Burns penalty in the second half was enough to secure the victory at the Weaver Stadium.
