Crewe & Nantwich RUFC moved into second place in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two after beating leaders Douglas 39-23 at the Vagrants. It was a fine win for the 1st team bouncing back from their 22-8 defeat at Sefton. They are now just two points behind new front-runners Oswestry.
Crewe & Nantwich RUFC will be staging its Christmas party at the Vagrants in Wybunbury on December 17. And Santa will be paying a visit to the club on the day to give out special gifts to youngsters.
Crewe & Nantwich RUFC kick off their rugby campaign this Saturday when they welcome Vagabonds (Isle of Man) to the Vagrants. And Crewe & Nantwich will be hoping to kick on from where they finished the 2010-11 season, as league champions and Cheshire Plate winners.
