The popular Teddy Bears Picnic is to be held at Cholmondeley Castle near Nantwich again this summer.
The day, organised by Nantwich-based Ted-Events, will help to raise funds for the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice.
Organisers are hoping hundreds of families will turn out for the August 4 event and help to reach their target of £5,000.
Last year, they raised that much for the One in Eleven Appeal to help open a new neo-natal unit at Leighton Hospital.
Organiser Claire Smith said: “We are a small group of friends who decided a few years ago to give something back to charity.
“It’s an honour to be part of the event team, it involves a lot of hard work and dedication but the end result of a fantastic family day out is all worth it.
“Having young children myself it was very humbling to visit the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice, the money we raise on the day will open the doors to support young children who have a shortened life expectancy.
“Come along and enjoy a great day out, every penny you donate makes a huge difference to a child in need.”
The event will start at 11am through to 5pm, and includes a treasure hunt, Punch and Judy, farm animals, play area, face painting, picnic site, tombola, raffle and more.
