Young athletes from across Crewe and Nantwich are celebrating after scooping four out of six titles in the North West Sportshall Finals.
Crewe & Nantwich Athletics Club triumphed in all three age groups, beating off stuff competition from the region’s best clubs.
U11 girls, U13 girls, U15 girls and U15 boys all won their competitions.
The U11 boys were runners-up, and U13 boys secured third place.
A number of the 69 young athletes who took part for Crewe & Nantwich also won individual medals in the various disciplines at the Sportshall Final in Widnes.
Other teams competing against them included West Cheshire, Sutton St Helens, Macclesfield, Wirral, Halton & Frodsham, Southport Waterloo, Sutton St Helens and Deeside.
The U11 Boys Team – Cory Horrocks, George Spain, Henry Sandland, Jake Tonks, Jeremy Shorthose, Liam Prestwich, Luke Darlington, Oliver Atkinson, Oliver Doyle, Sean Sides, Seb Jamson-Smith & Thomas Stokes.
The U11 Girls Team – Abbie Birchenough, Anna Creighton, Connie Jamson-Smith, Ellie McGlincy, Emily Suggate, Esther Wilding, Kiera Heyes, Macy Preece, Megan Illingworth, Olivia Fowler, Pru Lindsey, Roisin Selby, Rosie Meakin, Ruby Bowie & Sophie Reader.
The U13 Boys Team – Daniel Bayes, David Naylor, Ethan Hall, Jack Wilne, James Mitchell, James Puttick, Marcus Grayson, Oliver Taylor, Owen Edwards, Peter Selby, Sam Burgess, Shaun Jones.
The U13 Girls Team Amelia Atkinson, Anaya Stocks, Beth Linder-Arrowsmith, Ellie Grinnell, Emily Whelan, Evie Shorthose, Hannah Whelan, Hollie Campbell, Jennifer Palin, Lauren Roe, Leah Berry, Marcie Lewis, Neha Mittal, Priya Mittal, Tia Campbell & Zoe Leydon.
The U15 Boys Team – Finley Smith, Franklyn Roe, Jack Williamson, Jordan Sides, Joshua Stubbs & Lewis Palin.
The U15 Girls Team – Abbie Whelan, Caitlin Britton, Eve Fenoglio, Eve Nickisson, Hannah Dodds, Liberty Hughes, Louise Elleray & Matilda Hargreaves.
In the individual events a total of 35 event medals were won, including 16 golds.
