A South Cheshire financial planning firm is staging a week-long event to help people plan for their future.
1825, on Crewe Business Park, is offering residents the chance to meet with a trained adviser for free during Financial Planning Week running from October 3-10.
The week is part of a national drive by the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) professional body to offer guidance and highlight the life-changing value of financial planning.
Dave Williams, regional managing director, said: “For the third year we are supporting Financial Planning Week and I’m delighted we’re involved again.
“At the end of the day everyone’s trying to do the best they can for themselves and for their families, and that’s essentially what great financial planning is about – helping people put themselves in the best possible position to have a great retirement, or pass on wealth, or whatever it is they’re trying to achieve.
“Financial Planning Week is a fantastic opportunity for people as it gives them a glimpse into just how powerful financial planning can be.”
1825, part of the global investment company Standard Life Aberdeen, set up its regional office in Crewe earlier this year after acquiring Jones Sheridan Financial Planning.
The company, which employs more than 40 people on Electra Way, champions good customer service with its sponsorship of the South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce ‘Excellence in Customer Service’ category at November’s business awards at Crewe Hall.

Will they advise that they are restricted not independent advice?
1825 portfolios are not highly thought of throughout the industry and most independent advisers will offer a free initial meeting which will be truly independent not a tied adviser in disguise
