Salvador missed out on the chance to move into second place in the Crewe Regional Sunday League Premier Division when they could only draw 2-2 at bottom club Talbot.
Salvador dominated the game played at Barony Park in Nantwich and seemed to be heading to victory thanks to two goals from Kevin Sharp.
But a very late brace from Brandon Broadhurst gave battling Talbot an unexpected point.
It means Square One lead the way in the Premier Division going into 2019, on 29 points from 11 matches.
Crewe Ath and Salvador are both on 21 points, but Crewe ahead on goal difference despite playing one game more.
Talbot remain rooted to the foot of the table on four points from 15 matches.
In Division One, AFC Wickstead went down 1-2 to Audlem.
An early Kevin Berisford goal gave the visitors the lead, but Wickstead equalised through a Tom Butler penalty.

It means The Ark continue at the top of Division One into the New Year, on 40 points from 16 games, and a massive 12-point lead on second place George & Dragon.
