More than 400 people visited Nantwich Civic Hall to pick up baby bargains, advice and products in aid of the One in Eleven Appeal. Mums, dads and parents-to-be browsed the stalls from 40 traders at the Nantwich Baby Fair “Bumps, Babes and Beyond”.
Nantwich Litter Group will be holding a “Group Pick” on Tuesday July 3 on Barony Park. Volunteers are asked to meet at 10am in the car park on Barony Road and make a clean sweep around the area.

Nantwich Transport Festival pulled in the car fans when it was staged at Nantwich Town’s Weaver Stadium. The festival was due to be held at Barony Park but had to be switched because the park was waterlogged.
A driver was trapped after a serious car accident closed off Nantwich Road in both directions. Fire crews from Crewe and Nantwich were called to the scene at the junction with Mill Street, Crewe.

Organisers of next month’s Nantwich Show are promising another record-breaking event. Around 36,000 visitors poured through the gates of the show at Dorfold Park in 2011, and directors hope this year’s remains the top one day event in the UK.
Nantwich Big Cheese Film Club is to relaunch with a new series of screenings at a new venue, Nantwich Civic Hall. The season starts on July 9, and there will six award-winning films on show.
