A personal trainer from Nantwich has landed a new world record for swinging a kettleball for a staggering 12 hours.

Max Jarrett pushed himself to the limit physically and mentally to raise money for his chosen charity, Papyrus Prevention of Young Suicide.

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has formally submitted a planning application for a new Leighton Hospital on land next to the existing site.

The application, submitted to Cheshire East Council, includes a six-storey hospital plus rooftop plant, with ancillary buildings for a Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) and new energy infrastructure.
