RSPCA Stapeley Grange raises £2,000 from cheese and wine event

RSPCA Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre in Nantwich has hailed its first Cheese and Wine Evening as a big success after raising £2,150 for the centre’s work.

The event – supported by Falcon Wealth Management – brought together supporters for an evening of fine wine and cheese, music, raffle and auction at the centre on London Road.

Cheshire East’s “upgraded” planning system has come under fire as one councillor said she’s been inundated with complaints from residents unable to respond to consultations online.

Cllr Rachel Bailey (Audlem) said the number of complaints she’s had from Audlem residents and forwarded to planning officers “isn’t sustainable”.
