It was a proud moment for Andy, who was accompanied by his parents Steve and Jenny at Windsor yesterday (November 16) where he received the medal from King Charles III.

Nantwich Paralympic hero Andy Small was given a VIP welcome by Mornflake in Crewe where he visited the firm’s new shop and received a surprise presentation.

The wheelchair racer, who scooped gold in Tokyo this summer, was presented with a hamper of his favourite Mornflake oats, a branded sweatshirt and donation to his racing kit as he trains for the World Para Athletics Championships in Japan next summer.

Nantwich charity worker competes in Cerebral Palsy Games

A charity worker from Nantwich is representing England at the Cerebral Palsy International Sport and Recreation Association Games.

Andy Small, 22, who was born with cerebral palsy, was inspired to get involved in wheelchair racing by the London Paralympics in 2012.
