Nantwich Transport Festival pulled in the car fans when it was staged at Nantwich Town’s Weaver Stadium. The festival was due to be held at Barony Park but had to be switched because the park was waterlogged.

Most schools across Nantwich will be closed tomorrow (November 30) along with public venues like Nantwich Baths as part of national strike action. Acton Nomads 1sts will be looking to build on their impressive 26-5 defeat of Northwich when they travel to Trafford this weekend. The Nomads proved too strong for their visitors and amassed a 21-5 lead by half time with tries from Mark Partridge and Jonny Brereton.
