Cheshire East bosses want more people to use bus services so it can increase passenger numbers and get more government grants to improve services.
It comes as the authority has been allocated more than £5.4 million in a local bus grant for 2025/26 from the Department for Transport.
A number of changes to bus routes in and out of Nantwich are taking place in July.
The changes are to the services 51, 52, 53, and 84 and come after community feedback.
Passengers have placed Cheshire East Council in the top 10 of UK local authorities for how satisfied they are with their bus services.
The survey by the independent public transport watchdog “Transport Focus” found user satisfaction in the borough’s services was 88% – a 5% increase on last year’s results.
Cheshire East Council has launched a bus saver pass for young people aged 16-19, offering a £1 flat fare for single journeys across the borough.
The 16-19 Bus Saver card now offers single bus fares for £1 and is valid on local bus services for journeys that start and/or finish within Cheshire East at any time.
