A charity Christmas draw has been given a boost by bosses at Sainsbury’s in Nantwich. Crewe & Nantwich Cancer Research UK has been handed a Christmas hamper to raffle off at the charity’s annual festive draw.
A Nantwich man has set off on a charity walk around Crewe and Nantwich to gain donations from local businesses and well-wishers. Neil Olsson was inspired by the Olympic Torch Relay to devise a route that will allow him to call in and see as many firms as possible.
Nantwich MP Edward Timpson joined in a fund-raising event at an Indian restaurant in Shavington. He was at The Koconut Grove Indian restaurant at The Cheshire Cheese in aid of Cancer Research UK.
