Nantwich Cricket Club are celebrating another trophy – this time won by their talented Under 15s team. The youngsters beat Neston to win the final of the of the ECB-sponsored Cheshire Under 15s Cup at Grappenhall.
Nantwich CC fell just short of victory at home to Toft in another rain-affected Cheshire County Premier League clash. Nantwich batted first on their home strip at Whitehouse Lane, but were soon in trouble and were reduced to 58 for 7.
Nantwich CC have reached the final of the Cheshire Cup with a convincing semi-final win over Widnes. Batting first Nantwich scored 231 with RayDoyle (76) and Glen Batticciotto (68) leading the way.
