A dog training team is hoping their four-legged pupils all get an A star when they start weekend dog training classes at a Nantwich school.

The Dogs Trust Dog School Shropshire and Cheshire team will be holding classes on Saturdays at Nantwich Primary Academy on Manor Road from next month.

A woman suffering from a rare thyroid disease is to trek from Nantwich to Llangollen with her rescue dog in aid of charity.

Emma Husband and border terrier cross Timo will be completing the 60-mile trek in May along the canal.

New signs and a wooden swan sculpture have been unveiled to the public at Nantwich Lake.

The project was a joint venture between Cheshire East Council, Ansa Environmental Services Ltd, RSPCA and the Dog’s Trust.

New signs and sculpture to be unveiled at Nantwich Lake

People are being invited to a day of celebration at Nantwich Lake to see new information signs and a swan sculpture unveiled.

The event, from 11am to 3pm on Tuesday April 7, has been organised by Cheshire East Council with the help of Ansa Environmental Services Limited, the RSPCA and The Dogs Trust.
