Families turned out in force to sample the delights of a new food festival in Nantwich over the weekend.
Dorfold Food and Drink Festival was hailed a ‘big success’ after attracting more than 3,000 visitors to sample all that was on offer including celebrity cookery demonstrations, live music and family entertainment.
MasterChef 2022 champion Eddie Scott is looking forward to meeting the “foodies of Nantwich” when he will demonstrate one of the dishes that helped him secure his win.
The former marine pilot, who won this year’s BBC culinary contest, is appearing at the new Dorfold Food and Drink Festival taking place this weekend (July 23-24).
The region’s top chefs, including this year’s BBC MasterChef winner Eddie Scott, will take to the stage at a new Nantwich festival.
Final preparations are being made for the first Dorfold Food and Drink Festival taking place July 23-24, in the parkland off Chester Road.
