New sports bar and restaurant GOAT to open in Nantwich
A new sports bar and restaurant called GOAT is to open in Nantwich.
And those behind the concept say it will be a “game changer for Nantwich’s food and sports scene”.
A man has been arrested after a broad daylight street brawl in Nantwich town centre, police confirm.
The incident happened on Waterlode, close to the swimming baths and Harrisons bar at the junction with Welsh Row and High Street.
Police are hunting an attacker who assaulted a 20-year-old reveller in Nantwich town centre and left him with serious facial injuries.
The victim was walking along Swine Market between Hays Travel and Harrisons bar when he was approached by three men.
Crewe & Nantwich’s first ever FM radio was launched in the town in a blaze of glory last night (February 11).

Nantwich’s top eateries gathered for a celebration of the town’s Food and Drink Festival – and for the annual “Nantwich Foodies” awards.
Residence Bar and Restaurant on Mill Street hosted the awards night which unveiled the results in the public’s favourite places to drink and eat.
