Nantwich Rotary raises £2,000 for sand dam in Kenya
Rotary Clubs across Nantwich and Cheshire have raised £15,000 towards a sand dam in a remote Kenyan village.
The dam is needed in Thavu, Eastern Kenya, to store water and help villagers survive.

Youngsters in Nantwich are learning about life at a school in Kenya through a film made by the pupils themselves. Children at Millfields Primary School and Nursery watched a film created by pupils at Lions Hill Primary near Nakuru town during a recent exchange visit.
Two African school teachers are visiting Nantwich to learn best practice from a local primary school. The Kenyan teachers are spending several days with staff and pupils of Millfields Primary School on Marsh Lane.
