A former RAF serviceman who suffered post traumatic stress disorder, has opened an exhibition of his artwork at Nantwich Museum.

David Jewkes’ “A Life in Colour” exhibition can be viewed in the Millennium Gallery at the Pillory Street venue until Saturday July 14.

Showpeople’s bid for Hack Green site in Nantwich to go before appeal

Residents fighting plans to turn the former RAF Hack Green camp in Nantwich into a site for travelling Showpeople will see the proposals put before an appeal hearing next week.

The original application to convert the site next to a quiet residential area off Coole Lane as submitted nearly two years ago.

The plans are to change the use of land at the old Hack Green camp off Coole Lane in Austerson, near Nantwich, to provide nine yards for 10 Showpeople families.
