As many as 95% parents in Cheshire East will receive their first choice of secondary school on national offer day, the authority says.

On national offer day today (March 3), Cheshire East Council has informed thousands of parents and carers about their children’s secondary school places.

94% gain first choice secondary school places in Cheshire East

More than 94% of applicants have secured first choice secondary school places in Cheshire East, the authority has said.

It’s a rise of 0.5% on last year’s figure and nearly 11% better than the 2017 national average of 83.5%.
