Crewe Vagrants Women team have been crowned county softball champions after a thrilling final over victory.
The Willaston-based team secured their place at the County Finals Day after winning the South One division of the Cheshire Women’s Cricket League last summer.
Crewe Vagrants CC 1sts earned a fine win on the road at Sandyford in North Staffs and South Cheshire League as Rory Kalnins (35) hit 24 off the first over.
Ben Jarvis (10) and the usually aggressive Lew Bacon (22) added a 51 partnership.
