A digital media company in South Cheshire has been shortlisted for two major awards.
R1 Digital, run by Nantwich entrepreneur Fiona Ridgway, has been nominated in two categories in the Northern Digital Awards.
The company, based at Crewe Hall Farm, has beaten over stiff competition from 200 entries to be shortlisted for Small Digital Agency of the Year and Best Ecommerce Website.
Agencies from across the North of England – from Newcastle-upon-Tyne to Manchester – were invited to submit their best work and put forward their achievements from this year.
The awards recognise the best in web design and development, digital campaigns, social media, apps, video and, most importantly, the talent in the digital industry across the North.
Fiona (pictured), a former Brine Leas School student, said the team was “delighted” to be nominated.
It follows other successes for R1 Digital in 2014 which has seen them expand, recruit its staff, and land major contracts with big names such as Reebok.
The winners of the Northern Digital Awards will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday January 22.
