Mostly Autumn

Award-winning rock band Mostly Autumn will be performing their hits live at Nantwich Civic Hall this Friday June 9.

The group was voted Best Band of 2012 in the Classic Rock Society poll.

And they also scooped Best Band – Best Live Act – Best Album (Go Well Diamond Heart) – Best Female Vocalist – Best Guitarist – Best Drummer awards in the 2011 poll.

Since forming back in 1996, Mostly Autumn have garnered themselves a name for their relentless touring schedule and outstanding live shows.

They have built a loyal following since their first album, including famous fans such as the late Richard Wright of Pink Floyd, Deep Purple’s Jon Lord and the BBC’s Bob Harris.

Mostly Autumn have also toured as support act to Blackmore’s Night, Uriah Heep and Jethro Tull, as well as being special guests at Bryan Adam’s Murrayfield Stadium gig a few years ago.

Their music is diverse and draws on influences from the golden age of 1970s rock.

But they have developed their own unique sound and style that captures some of that heady era and also the future.

Bryan Josh is the top class guitarist, lead vocalist is the talented Olivia Sparnenn, with Iain Jennings on keyboards, Andy Smith on bass, Gavin Griffiths (drums), and Liam Davison (rhythm guitar).

The band also includes vocals and multi instruments of Anne-Marie Helder.

Tickets are still available for their show on Friday June 9, doors open 7.30pm, tickets are £15 available from Nantwich Civic Hall on 01270 628633 or online at www.nantwichtowncouncil.gov.uk
