Residents of Richmond Village Nantwich have raised more than £180 for CLIMB.

A cheque for £184 was presented recently to CLIMB chief executive Steve Hannigan from Richmond Nantwich residents Marianne Jones and Patricia Tysall.

It follows the successful raffle of a Scottish themed hamper provided by Sainsbury’s in Nantwich held at the Village’s Burns Night celebrations.

CLIMB (Children Living with Inherited Metabolic Diseases) is a national organisation working for children, young people, adults and families affected by the disease.

It is the UK’s foremost provider of free metabolic disease information to young people, adults, families, professionals and other interested groups.

Debbie Mercandelli, hospitality manager at Richmond Village Nantwich, said: “We are delighted to be able to present this money.

“We all enjoy helping to raise money for charities and this is a really good cause.”
