Celebrities will be on show at Nantwich Town’s Weaver Stadium for a charity football match tomorrow (April 29).
The Once Upon A Smile (OUAS) charity game will feature actors from TV soaps including Hollyoaks, Eastenders, Emmerdale, Shameless and more.
OUAS was founded by actor Daniel Jillings and works with hospitals, hospices, schools and charities to support families who have lost a loved one to a terminal or long term illness.
The celebrity team is made up of famous faces including Danny Miller (Emmerdale), Matt Lapinskas (Eastenders), Lyndon Ogbourne (Emmerdale), Elliott Tittensor (Shameless), James Sutton (Hollyoaks) and Ben Ryan Davies (Waterloo Road)
Daniel said: “Both Danny Miller and I had our own reasons why we founded Once Upon A Smile.
“The one thing we had in common is that we wanted to provide a source of support to grieving families and put a smile back on their faces.
“There are many people involved in the background to make Once Upon A Smile as successful as it is, already placing us as a nationally recognised source of support throughout the UK.”
The game tomorrow (Sunday April 29) will kick off at 2pm.
