Nantwich CC 1st team kick-started their 2012 campaign with a victory at home to newly promoted Marple at Whitehouse Lane.
The hosts, without skipper Andrew Newton, smashed 251-4 and then skittled out their visitors for just 152 to claim 25 points.
Nantwich welcomed back vice captain Ray Doyle and promoted Dave Ferris from the second eleven, and it was stand in captain Doyle who top scored after choosing to bat first with 60 not out.
The two openers Jonny Kettle and Sam Hunt set the scene with a 107 first-wicket stand.
Hunt was eventually out for 53 and Kettle contributed 51, before Ollie Law added a fine 39.
When Doyle was joined at the wicket by Jimmy Warrington, they set about the tiring Marple bowling attack. Warrington smashed 36 off just 14 balls before they closed on 251-4.
Marple lost opener Marshall early on with no score to Warrington who continued to make an impact on the game.
Warrington and Barrington Browne continued to put the Marple batsmen on the back foot. Only former Cheshire captain Andrew Hall showed resistance with 53.
Ollie Griffiths bowled a tight spell of 12 overs for 13 runs, claiming two wickets while Alex Matthews took 2 for 44.
Browne returned to finish off the stubborn tailenders and took the last wicket to dismiss Marple for 152.
Warrington claimed four wickets for 42 to complete a fine all-round performance.
