Two South Cheshire businesswomen are launching a new idea – to help people overcome their wedding day jitters!
Anne-Marie Yates and Angela Watt will launch their Wedding Day Nerves venture at Nantwich Show on July 31.
It is designed to offer coaching sessions and valuable tips and techniques to anyone nervous about their big day.
Anne-Marie said: “It takes a huge amount of effort and money to organise a wedding and everyone wants the day to be perfect.
“This adds up to a lot of pressure which often spills over into anxiety and nerves which can spoil the day.”
Angela added: “It’s not just brides who find themselves feeling anxious in the run-up to the wedding, at the ceremony or afterwards.
“For many people, there is so much going on and so many people at the event that it can feel overwhelming.
“Often the father of the bride, best man or the groom is the most nervous especially about making a speech.”
They aim to run small group workshops or tailor a group or individual session for members of a wedding party.
Sessions could include relaxation and visualisation techniques, and practical advice on staying calm.
“We all love to share the excitement of a wedding but none of us want to share the pressure and the stress,” says Anne-Marie.
“We know we can help and make a difference between just getting through the day and making it the day that everyone wants.”
The couple will be in the Town and Country stand at Nantwich Show on July 31.
