A Tarporley man has been badly injured in a road smash near Sandbach.
The 21-year-old was a passenger in a blue Ford Fiesta which collided with another at the junction of Clay Lane and Hall Lane, Elton.
The driver, a 20-year-old woman from Tarvin, suffered serious internal injuries and is being treated at North Staffordshire Hospital where her condition is described as stable.
The 21-year-old front seat passenger from Tarporley, received serious internal injuries and is also at North Staffordshire Hospital where his condition is described as critical but stable.
The driver of the grey Ford Fiesta, a 24-year-old man from Sandbach suffered minor injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the accident which happened at 3.45pm on Sunday May 25.
At the time of the collision, the grey Ford Fiesta was travelling along Hall Lane in the direction of Sandbach when it collided with the blue Ford Fiesta.
Cheshire Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or witnessed the movements of either vehicle prior to the collision.
