The world famous production The Mousetrap is heading to South Cheshire when it plays at Crewe Lyceum from June 9 to 14.

The classic show, the longest running in British theatre history, is on its first UK tour to celebrate 60 years.

The legendary thriller is giving South Cheshire theatre fans a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see the Agatha Christie masterpiece at Crewe Lyceum next month.

The plot involves a group of people in a country house, cut off by snow, and discover there is a murderer in their midst.

The suspicious characters reveal their pasts until, at the last nerve-shredding moment, the identity and motive of the killer is revealed.

In her own inimitable style Dame Agatha Christie has created an atmosphere of shuddering suspense and a brilliantly intricate plot where murder lurks around every corner.

Tickets for the show at the Lyceum are from £26. There is a £1.50 booking fee per ticket.

Other shows at the Lyceum include Bobby Socks and Blue Jeans tomorrow (Saturday May 31) at 7.30pm.

This sensation live music production stars Cliff Richard tribute Kytsun Wolfe, The Pony Tails and The Five Pennies, all performing the music of the 1950s and 60s superstars.

Actor, writer and comedian Miles Jupp is performing on Wednesday June 4, 7.30pm.

Jupp, a regular on Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week and Radio 4, is making a welcome return to stand-up.

Saturday Night Bee Gees comes to the Lyceum on Thursday June 5 at 7.30pm.

Tribute act The Saturday Night Bee Gees perform a show featuring all the iconic songs including Night Fever, Jive Talkin’, You Win Again and Staying Alive.

Tickets £19.50. There is a £1.50 booking fee per ticket.

And The Dreamboys, the UK’s top male glamour show, will be performing in Friday June 6, 7.30pm.

They have appeared on The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, Celebrity Big Brother and The Only Way is Essex.
