Nantwich youngsters are signing up to the latest Summer Reading Challenge at Nantwich library.
Scores of children aged 4 to 11 take part every year, and the 2014 theme is “The Mythical Maze”.
Youngsters register for the challenge for free and then read six books of their choice during the school summer break.
They collect stickers and other rewards along the way, and a presentation night for those completing the challenge is held later in the year.
Tom Appleby, Nantwich Library manager, said: “The Summer Reading Challenge is a fun way to keep children’s reading levels up over the long summer holidays when they traditionally drop.
“The children really love the stickers and free gifts they get as they complete the challenge.”
