Training Bytesize winners at Cheshire Business Awards

A Nantwich training company has scooped a gong at the Cheshire Business Awards.

Family-run Training Bytesize Ltd, based on Hospital Street, picked up the certificate at the awards at Chester Cathedral on Friday (October 3).

Martyn Kinch, of the company, said it was “a real surprise and a great boost for our Nantwich based team”.

Managing director Victoria Graham, Martyn’s daughter, received the award from Lucy Meacock in the category of ‘Small Business of the Year – Up to 10 people’.

The business started in 2012 and Martyn’s wife Heather is finance director while his son James has just opened a new office in Sydney Australia.

They employ a team of three other people in the Nantwich office.

Martyn added: “We won the best small business award – less than 10 employees – and this is the first time we have entered these awards, so given we have only been going just over two years, we were gobsmacked to win!

“We have picked up major sales with large companies such as North West Aerospace Alliance as their preferred partner, and also companies like Costain, Foster Wheeler, United Utilities, EA Technology and the United Nations to name a few.

“We also have become the major provider of German language online project courses in Germany through our partner Maxpert, and also Poland with our new Polish language courses.”

Training Bytesize also offers training via email, phone and live sessions to help students pass PRINCE2 exams.
