Hungry customers at a Nantwich shop were treated to more than a just a tasty sandwich when they were wowed by a talented singer.
London-based songwriter Hannah White performed at the Bloom sandwich shop on Pillory Street.
Hannah sang and played guitar on a number of tracks acoustically from her album – ‘Whose Side Are YouOn?’ – released the day before her concert in the town.
She was ably accompanied by Keiron Marshall who provided backing vocals and also played on guitar.
Their warmly received performance reached a crescendo with new song ‘I’ll Make YouStrong’.
Hannah was supported by talented Nantwich-based singer-songwriter Tim Lee.
He sang and played guitar on tracks from his most recent album – ‘Don’t Be Apologetic’ – along with new material.
Members of the audience included Nigel Stonier, who produced new Hannah’s album, and his wife singer-songwriter Thea Gilmore.
Also there were Chris Radford and Kirsty Rollings from The Cat community radio station, and in an unofficial capacity Nantwich Mayor Councillor Andrew Martin and Mayoress Linda Martin.
Bloom owner Sarah Roberts said: “It’s fantastic that Hannah and Keiron wanted to return from London to Bloom after playing here last year at the Words and Music Festival.
“We are also grateful to Tim for his performance. We plan to support the Words and Music Festival again later this year.”
