Top chef Nigel Brown will be delighting his fans at Nantwich Food Festival in September.
The Yorkshire-born chef has spent a lifetime in the hotel and catering industry.
He has worked in France, produced DVDs and established the Nigel Brown Cookery Academy.
In 2015, he published his first book – *NB. HOW TO COOK* – that was soon crowned ‘*The Best Cookery School Cookbook*’ at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.
Nigel said: “Nantwich is such a diverse festival and it caters for not only the serious foodie but also the whole family.
“I always aim to engage with the crowd in a fun, friendly yet informative fashion.
“I’m looking forward to not only presenting in the live cookery theatre at the festival, but also demonstrating some fabulous recipes from my award-winning cookbook.
“During my demonstrations, I will be sharing some great hints and tips, but most importantly my recipes will be achievable for all the festival’s visitors – something I think is really important.
“They say the best parties are always in the kitchen, so I hope to see you all there!”
Also appearing across the festival weekend will be last summer’s Great British Bake Off winner, Candice Brown.
High-energy children’s TV entertainer Katy Ashcroft also makes a return.
Well-established stars will be joined by chefs from Nantwich restaurants who will showcase the town’s cuisine, and up-and-coming talent from Cheshire schools and colleges will also take to the hob.
Entry to the Nantwich Food Festival exhibitor marquees and chef demonstrations is free, with a programme of events, music and entertainment scheduled each day.
This year’s festival will take place from Friday September 1 to Sunday September 3.
