Nantwich Town have secured a new shirt sponsor deal with local firm County Insurance – as another key player departs.

The financial company will sponsor the Dabbers tops next season after a two-year deal with Fairerpower came to an end.

The return to County Insurance, who were sponsors in 2014-15, comes in conjunction with the club switching their kit manufacturers from Joma to Macron.

The team’s new-look kits have been unveiled already for next season (pictured, below).

County Insurance Commercial Director Tim Crighton is a director with the company and serves on the club’s board.

A Nantwich spokesperson said: “We are delighted to have County Insurance back on our shirts for next season and to have Macron on board as our kit manufacturer.

“We hope to have a full range of Macron stock, including home and away shirts plus other club related merchandise, available from the club shop in the coming weeks.”

Meanwhile, the Dabbers have seen three key players depart, with two following former manager Phil Parkinson to join Altrincham.

Promising defender Ibou Touray left last week after signing for Salford City.

Touray appeared 59 times for Nantwich during the 2016/17 season and won Young Player of the Season award.

Before that, popular defender Ben Harrison left to join Parkinson at Altrincham.

And now Nantwich striker Josh Hancock was the latest to be snapped up from the Weaver Stadium by Altrincham.

Hancock bagged nine goals in 41 games last season, and 22 goals in 103 appearances over the last two and half years.
