Organisers of the Nantwich Food Festival are urging visitors to use the park and ride scheme during the three-day event.
Tens of thousands of people are expected in the town on each day during the event August 30 to September 1.
Organisers have put up car park closure signs at Love Lane and Bowling Green car parks.
These car parks will be closed from 6pm on Tuesday August 27 so marquees can be safely put in place for the arrival of more than 200 exhibitors.
A spokesperson said: “This is why festival organisers provide off-site parking and Park and Ride buses to ferry visitors safely to and from the town centre.
“This year the Park and Ride car parks are located at Nantwich Town Football Club, Barony Park and Brine Leas School, and are available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during Festival opening hours.
“The service is free, although the charities running each car park location will be collecting donations.
“The Dysart car park is for disabled parking only over the Festival period so will remain closed to general parking throughout the Festival.”
Festival brochures are produced by local business TR Creative and are free, and can be collected over the weekend.
The Bowling Green live music stage headline sponsor is The Vine Inn, while on Love Lane, supporting music stage sponsors include Living Pure Natural and Barberus.
There are two Chef Demonstration Theatres showcasing celebrity and local chefs.
There will also be live music, street entertainment, competitions plus food and drink aplenty.
Details of all events, entertainment and exhibitors can be found on the festival website www.nantwichfoodfestival.co.uk
New volunteers can contact organisers via the website.
And there is still time to vote in the Nantwich Food Awards. Voting closes on September 2.
